The Zoo of Tranquility was originally released in 1988.This is a new version of that album. The new The Zoo of Tranquility was re-recorded and remixed in 1996 with two additional new pieces at Riet Studio, Berlin, by Johannes Schmoelling. The basic style includes Pop and Techno traits, with a strong protagonism of the synthesizers. The sonic and melodic constructions turn out to be rather astonishing indeed, as well as unpredictable enough. A multitude of elements, apparently opposed, are perfectly fused, from classical to ethnic, as well as many others. The sequencers have an important role, supported by the percussion. Also there are slow passages, where the melody and the soft environments predominate.
