"THE PRIVATE TAPES VOL. 5"

Manikin Records

"Ultramarine" (1978) lasts 22 minutes and is Space Music with a not very upbeat rhythm, a soloist electric guitar, synthesizer accompaniment, and some touches of rock. "Lotus" (1976), of 20 minutes, is a quick piece, with a sequencer rhythm, and celestial melodies that however, by mid-record acquire a turbulent, threatening character. "Ivresse de lune" (1973) is a suggestive cosmic theme with a rhythmic structure of rock, in which one of the first manifestations of the birth of Space Music can be appreciated. "Ivresse de soleil" (1973) is a romantic rock ballad. "Ooze Away" (1973), of 28 minutes, ranges between psychedelic rock and electronic experimentation with cosmic hues. The CD is complemented with three minutes of an interview in 1979 where Göttsching speaks.
