He has released some albums with Forever Einstein, for whom he is composer and guitarist. Vrtacek has worked on numerous other projects, including releases with the band Biota, a project with Chris Cutler and Thomas Dimuzio, and a piano music project with Nick Didkovsky and Steve MacLead.
