Previous Page (Galleries)The American composer Suzanne Ciani was a pioneer of electronic music in the early '70s. For years, she explored the possibilities that the new technologies provided, and she created music for numerous TV advertisements and other productions. In 1979 Seven Waves was released, the first independent album in her stage as a solo artist. By the mid '80s, she achieved international success with her records. Since the late '80s, she has turned to the acoustic instruments rather than the electronic ones, and has showed that she is a very talented pianist.
