"Turning" is a beautiful romantic album by Suzanne Ciani, based on the piano and synthesizers. It consists of 12 compositions, whose stylistic range fluctuates between New Instrumental Music and classical symphonism. All of them have been composed by Suzanne, except for "Bird and Fish", composed by Chyi-Yu. Suzanne, who in this album plays piano and synthesizers, is accompanied by Chyi-Yu (vocals on "Turning"), Paul McCandless (oboe, English horn), Michael Manring (bass), Teja Bell (guitar), Steven Kindler (violin), Joseph Hebert (cello), Roberto (guitar), Matt Eackle (flute), John Hernandez (V-Drum System), and Joe Anderson (guitar) The result cannot be more convincing: a work of an extreme sensitivity and introspection.
