OUR REVIEW

One of the most interesting episodes of the television series of scientific divulgation The New Explorers, is no doubt the one devoted to the finding of dinosaurs. After an introduction by Bill Kurtis, this small book takes us into the basic aspects of the discovery of a new species called Afrovenator, including the journey and the emotive achievement of this success on the part of a young team of scientists.

The Afrovenator is in actual fact an excuse to introduce the viewer (and here the reader) within the idiosyncracy of the discovery of the past, an activity tainted with adventure that reveals how much we still ignore on the animal history on Earth. The book, eminently graphic as it is, and containing clear, concise texts, is closed with a glossary, bibliography and an index, as well as a list of new sources of information that can be accessed via Internet.
