GENERAL TABLE OF CONTENTS
OUR REVIEW The new series of small books The New Explorers makes an example of what a publication aimed at the young readers interested in science should be: the clear, complete answer to those questions all of us have asked ourselves some time or other. This is the publication in printed paper of the contents of the television programs of the same title that have received different awards. Animal Intelligence is centered on what appears to be the most intelligent of animals: the dolphin. The subtitle, Why does the dolphin smile?, merely emphasizes the fact that we are before a truly extraordinary creature, worthy of study. The book explains the most important facts we know on the intelligence of these animals, and it does so with a great amount of photographies and a clear, simple text. It includes the corresponding bibliography and a good deal of web addresses so that we can satisfy in Internet our wish to know more about this issue. |
