KATHRYN TOYAMA: "HOPE FOR HARMONY" Throughout this album, we witness an exquisite display of carefully developed melodies, created by this composer and pianist. "Hope for Harmony" consists of 18 tracks, 17 of them performed only with the piano, and the last one also includes Richard Alan at the guitar. As a general rule, the music has an emotional load of romanticism. Some themes or passages turn out to have quite a festive air, whereas others are rather melancholy in nature.
