Ever Orchid DRYAD ANTHOUSAI Fire Lines Records 2009 Ever Orchid is a very original artist whose music, fresh and transgressor in nature, happens to be quite difficult to label. Fusing chants as if they were layers of synthesizers, and using in an unusual manner other musical elements, the artist weaves a web of bewitching harmonies and beautiful, enigmatic melodies step by step. Even in the darkest passages there is beauty. Some medieval reminiscences can also be perceived in her music, together with Ambient shades and other trends, all that chained in a kaleidoscopic manner. One of the most impressive tracks is "Dragonfly Lullaby", with an air of magical romanticism that makes this theme look like an ancestral legend on the events of the night of the times transmuted from words to music.
