Robert Schroeder

30 YEARS AFTER

NEWS-music / Spheric Music

2009

Robert Schroeder, one of the most brilliant pioneers in the plethora of innovative genres that emerged in the decade of the 1970's around the movement known as Space Music of the School of Berlin, released his first album in 1979. Hence the title of this album, "30 Years After".

In the manner of a personal reflection on what these three decades in his musical career have meant to him, Schroeder makes a tour through some of the best known aspects in his style throughout the nine tracks in the album. His most personal vein is perceived in the Space Sequencer Music, his incursions within Ambient, and his expeditions to terrains near to Synth-Pop and to Techno.

In summary, an essential album for all his followers.
