DANIEL LENTZ: "POINT CONCEPTION" Cold Blue Music 2007 "Point Conception" consists of two compositions, whose stylistic range fluctuates between Minimalism and Classical Music. The first piece is for nine pianos. The second theme is for four pianos. Using the whole potential of this instrument, the composer constructs daring sound structures. The album results into a varied narrative tapestry, at times hypnotic, calm, while at other times becoming frantic. There are dark passages. Others turn out to be warm, romantic.
