With a remarkable ease and freshness, the duo Colette & Phil give us a wonderful CD single with their most recent three compositions. Without breaking with the basic lines of their charismatic style, they do approach music from a more dynamic, agile perspective, which can be labeled within the avantgarde Pop, with connections towards New Instrumental Music. "Listen to the Children (Indigo Mix)" perfectly embodies this perspective, A theme with a great strength, it is an emotive rock ballad, with an avantgarde flavor. "Are You the Stranger?" combines the suggestive voice of Colette with a melody that ranges from the warm to the mysterious, and a powerful rhythm, very successful, rich in ethereal sonorities. "Time Traveler" presents us with the side of the duo most nearest to the structures typical of New Instrumental Music. This is a piece with a great strength, with a transcendental, nostalgic air, basically instrumental, that immediately captures the attention of the listener.
