Unique in their orientation,, previsible and imprevisible at the same time, Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka, the members of Midnight Syndicate, offer us a new, dark adventure. As in their former works, they adopt a formal structure framed within the genre of terror. Yet, instead of making use of the easy mines of apocalyptic noise, they compose disquieting melodies and create very concrete ambiances, utilizing the synthesizers in an orchestral manner. As if it were a radio novel without words, they make us live diverse situations. The structure of their compositions develops around the New Instrumental Music, yet unlike this genre, it centers around the harmony of what is dark, tenebrous.
