Electroacoustic composer Koji Asano introduces us in this album into another of his interesting experiments. In his quest to explore new dimensions of sound, in this occassion he has created a series of more or less meditative piano pieces, flowing along Classical Music, Minimalism and Jazz, whose most original trait is its sound texture, determined by its recording on a microcassette. The ever present sound typical of the CD is thus replaced by this other one, which allows the listener to hear the music from a more limited perspective, as if it were a black and white photograph as compared to a color version of the same.
