Steven D. Stockes, a.k.a Elemental, seems to want to express in his work the constant opposition statism/dynamics. The statism, by means of dense pads, wondrous chords and choir samplers. A perhaps epic peace, maybe melancholy... On the other hand, movement, maybe equable to optimism, comes through the vigor of his sequences, the true queens of full themes and in a perfect interaction with all kinds of watery effects, which could in some cases remind us of Ray Lynch.
