Johannes Linstead's first album Sol Luna Tierra marks his debut as a solo recording artist. The music is an imaginative fusion of folklores, shaped by the artistic personality of this composer. Two important elements in this CD are the melodies having a Flamenco/Salsa/Brazilian air performed with the Spanish guitar, and the lively rhythms elaborated with warm percussion instruments of a Latin flavor. Also there are some traits from Jazz, Pop, New Instrumental Music and other varied elements that contribute to enrich these pieces.
