The Elysium Project is the debut CD of Anthony Baskey and his company, Infinite Creations. A graduate of Humber College and York University, Baskey has a very peculiar style. His project is not jazz but has clear jazz influences. The music has a profound melodic content which carry us through a variety of tempos and emotions. The author uses percussion, acoustic and electronic instruments. The Elysium Project is in fact the first of seven projects, each represented by a colour from the light spectrum. This CD is devoted to the colour purple. It contains 11 tracks.
