"A TRIBUTE TO KLAUS SCHULZE"

Like the title suggests, this album is a special homage of several synthesists to Klaus Schulze, the famous pioneer of modern electronic music. Many of them claim to have in Schulze one of their basic influences. Most of these musicians preferred to play their own compositions, which are very Schulze-influenced. Other artists did personal versions of some Schulze's themes. Most of the pieces have upbeat sequenced rhythms, except for some where there are long soft passages in an Ambient key. Besides the focus on electronic music near to Berlin School style in a modern form, part of the music shows a tendency towards Techno and Trance. The artists here included are: Amp, Laurent Dury, Kazz, Sanjiva, Kenton Files, Nemesis, Subsonic Affair, Second Culture, Bjorn Fogelberg, Bondee System, Schulzendorfer Groove Orchester / Richard Wahnfried.
