New World Music
This is a wonderful album, full of emotions, by Stephen Rhodes. Most of the pieces can be labelled within the New Instrumental Music, although they also have Ambient-Space characteristics. The music, based on the piano and synthesizers, tends to be soft, with slow rhythms, or even static. The Space style present in the album is melodic and symphonic, often with spectacular orchestrations with synthesizers and a certain romantic character. Some passages are mysterious. Also there are passages or themes that get near to Classical music.
