This is the debut album by Laurie Z. All songs were composed and performed by her, using electronic keyboards and computers. The music, however, is not a cosmic production or something like that. Her style is probably more influenced by people like Suzanne Ciani: powerful orchestrations, good melodies and the best sounds. The CD contains 11 instrumental pieces, some very relaxing, others showing much more upbeat rhythms. Laurie Z is a classically trained pianist but here she creates a perfect blend of new age, classical, electronic and jazz music. Of course, she is a piano virtuoso: please, listen to tracks like "A Night at the Improv" or "Promise to Forever". Window to the World was first released in 1989; this CD version appeared in 1992.
