Peter Fand's work is a magnificient sample of music for relaxation and meditation. Some years ago, he discovered the Kora, a 21 stringed harp-lute from West Africa, whose great expressivity seduced him completely. As time went by, he played with it his own compositions beyond the folkloric sphere associated with this instrument. The pieces included in this CD were created in the latter part of 1997, during Yoga an Meditation classes in which Fand was working as a musical accompanist. There are some themes in a symphonic key, of an almost classical nature, and others that enter the field of Ambient. There also are some traits typical of jazz. A certain nostalgic air is present in most of the themes.
