Tim Mac Brian creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, with his romantic music. His music in this album combines Classical and Pop elements, in a style typical of the New Instrumental Music. The seven pieces are slow, though not static. Ethereal orchestrations can be appreciated, accompanying the soloist instruments. Although there are some melancholy parts, the general structure of the album displays an energy that, not quite becoming euphoria, makes the music very lively.
