Eclectronica is a compilation made with music recorded in 1995-1997 and published by The Foundry, an American label devoted to instrumental/electronic/experimental music. This CD contains 16 themes. The artists are: Edvard Grieg, N. Kreisberg, Apiary, eM, Melec and M. Bentley. The music come from previously released material and also from recent improvisations. It is imaginative and certainly unusual, in general. Some pieces have been composed using computers and others are more classically influenced. It is obviously an album where the sound (and the complex and emotional sensations it provides) is very important. The Ambient side of the music is perhaps the main feature of this CD. People seeking non-conventional electronic music will love it.
