In Weather in the Heart we find a perfect blend between Celtic music and modern pop. You can also find trends of Jazz and influences that go from Van Morrison and Mark Isham to people like Liam O'Flynn, Bothy Band and Alan Stivell. Ten songs have been composed by the members of the group (Pippa Bagguley and Rob King), one more ("Ah Sweet Dancer") has been written by the notorious Micheál O'Suilleabhaín. Dónal Lunny (Capercaillie) is the producer. It is easy to note his fantastic arrangements all over the CD. In fact, the collaboration between Cármina and Lunny is probably one of the best things in it. The result: fresh and pleasant music, musical landscapes full of harmonies that surely we'll delight us.
