In Live Anthology, Guillermo Cazenave offers us a selecction of his best live recorded material, pieces from his albums Directo al Alma, Mayazteca, Concierto para la Tierra, Englewood Sessions and Spanish Impromptu, as well as from several unreleased concerts (INA Festival, Buenos Aires, etc.). This excellent compilation is distributed into 2 CDs with a total of 28 themes. Probably, we not only have a selection of live material from 1986 to 1996, but also a view of the best production by the artist. Most of the songs are almost totally electronic, with Cazenave at the keyboards, guitars, samplers, sequences, etc. Together with him such artists as Ronald Lloyd, Steven Halpern, Anthony Philips... have collaborated as well. The inside texts, which catalogue the origin of each theme perfectly well, are accompanied by numerous photographs. Live Anthology will be liked by the lovers of sophisticate electronic music, with touches of relaxation, There also is the humorous note, in the shape of the "bombus track", a cut of slightly more than a minute long that shares with us what happens when Guillermo Cazenave is interrupted in full concert. Simply wonderful.
