Phil Thornton has collaborated in this occasion with Hossam Ramzy to make a World Music album inspired in the mystery and the fascination of the ancient Egyptian culture. The six compositions in this work use many elements of the traditional Egyptian music, but these are also combined with ethereal, cosmic atmospheres. Thornton, who in this album plays the keyboards, vocoder, guitars, percussion, and Didgeridoo, among others, is accompanied by Hossam Ranzy, who plays traditional Egyptian percussion and also electronic percussion (Octapads). There also collaborate other musicians with ethnic instruments. The recording of this album was done between Cairo and Sussex.
