Asfafa, the first work by Robert Fox, is perhaps one of the most attractive ambient works this artist has done, mainly because of the amount of concepts that he includes in his sonic and musical palette. The nine themes that integrate the CD are intimately fused among themselves, thus turning this album into a true river that flows freely, quietly, spelling out the notes one by one with occasional peaks that can very well surprise the listener. The electronic music by Fox, experimented and dominating the technique rather than the contrary, as it sometimes happens with some artists, already has in this album a clearly recognisable style, one which surely is highly appreciated by its multiple followers. In a few words, a work that will enthusiasm the aficionados to ambient and electronic music in general.
