In the pieces that are included in this album, Peter Davison gathers traits from New Instrumental Music and innovative Pop. The rhythmic part is Pop in style, whereas the melodies fuse romanticism with slight South Ametican ethnic touches. Also there are passages or themes that get near to Classical music, others near to Jazz, and some very imaginative ones, too difficult to label adequately. Although several of the pieces have rather fast rhythms, others are more relaxed in nature.
