Pianist Paul Sylvan has selected the best, most romantic compositions he has created in the last years for this album. The piano is the soloist instrument in the eleven themes this album consists of. In some passages there are piano solos, whereas in others the piano is accompanied by several other instruments. There are some pieces in a symphonic key, of an almost classical nature, and others that enter the field of romantic pop music, with some traits typical of jazz. A certain nostalgic air is present in most of the themes, although there are others with merry, festive passages.
