JOHN RICHARDSON
"BAREFOOT ANGEL"
New World Music
Two long themes constitute this compact disc by Richardson. Each one of them is like a symphony, since they are formed by very different parts, both musically speaking and because of the instruments used. The music presents elements typical of pop, classical, cosmic, and of varied styles. However, the general orientation is romantic, with sensual melodies, sometimes mysterious, sometimes epic. The voices that appear in some of the passages are treated with echoing effects, turning them ethereal, almost unearthly.
