Chris Harvey shows in this CD a wide range of stylistic directions as well as a good dose of imagination. The music, which is electronic, has the typical characteristics of tendencies like Cosmic, Techno, and Pop. Besides, it has certain romantic touches, and sometimes some of Jazz. Each one of the eleven pieces is framed within one of these basic genres, though some gather elements from more than one of these. There are themes that sound mysterious, sinister, like for instance "The White Sail" which gives its name to the album. Others, like "Biomorph", are funny, amusing ones.
