Vangelis gathers imaginative musical ideas in this album, under a general focus approaching avant-garde pop. The theme that gives its title to the album, in which the choirs of the Opera in Athens participate, turns out to be the most charismatic of all. In it, all the strength of this epic Vangelis, majestic, imperious, who so much has contributed to consolidate his personal style, appears in his full magnitude. The orchestra is very well built, enhancing the impact of the music. The rest of the themes are innovative, although they keep a structure near to pop and symphonism, in the same line as other albums of his like Direct o The City. With respect to the instruments used, the synthesizers are combined with choirs and soloist voice treated with echoing effects.
