In this sampler of avant-garde music released by the Italian label Materiali Sonori there is a varied stylistic content, although more or less it can be framed within the new instrumental melodic music. The artists selected here are mostly Italian, even though there also appear other foreign ones, yet the latter keep a certain relationship with Italian musicians.
