March 31, 1998. THE LATEST ACTIVITIES BY MICHEL HUYGEN.

Michel Huygen is working in the multimedia field, and specially in internet. He designs websites and 3D logos for other artists and firms, among them, the painter Enrique Senis-Oliver. This web have received more than 300,000 hits in the last months. It is located at: http://www.senis-oliver.com. In the next months, a label will release a double CD formed by Quasar 2C361 (1977) and Vuelo Quimico (1978), the two first albums by Neuronium. Michel Huygen and other musicians participate in the sampler Soundscape Gallery 2, released by Lektronic Soundscapes. "Megaluz", the piece by Huygen, is a previously unreleased theme, recorded in January of this year. Currently, Huygen is composing a new album, inspired by the topic of extraterrestrial life. He is also working on the remasterization of old unreleased music by Neuronium, for several limited edition albums. In May, he will be on promotional tour in the USA. He will visit Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas, the cities with the biggest number of fans of him in the USA. The Spanish channel TV3 have commissioned him to write the music for a short documentary on the Cadi mountains in Catalonia. This documentary is part of a series devoted to catalonian natural parks. He must finish the soundtrack before the filming because his music will be played during the filming of that episode. TV3 will release an album containing his music and that by other composers used in the series.

The band At-Mooss will give a live performance every Thursday, 11 p.m. UT. The concerts will be broadcasted on internet by videoconference at: http://ils.family.four11.com
On April 22, a special event will be held at the salle Apolo, in Barcelona, Spain, to celebrate the program number 200 of Hidrogen, a TV show devoted to New Instrumental Music, broadcasted on TV3 Channel. Several musicians, among them Michel Huygen, will give a live performance during this event.
Kurt Marks is an interesting composer, singer and songwriter. His work September Room contains five compositions which can be labelled within the realm of alternative Rock. Also there are some traits from synth-pop, Industrial and other varied elements that contribute to enrich these pieces. The artist is receiving an excellent welcome from zines and radios.
Productions Electro Productions (PEP) have released Presence, a interesting compilation of electroacoustic works from the members of the Canadian Electroacoustic Community (CEC). The double CD contains pieces by these artists: Kevin Austin, David Berezan, Steve Bradley, Remy Carre, Martin Alejandro Fumarola, Martin Gotfrit, James Harley, Bentley Jarvis, Jan Jarvlepp, Monique Jean, Frederic Kahn, Christopher K.
