USA, August 13. KITARO'S LATEST ACTIVITIES.
Kitaro is planning a tour in support of the re-release of Peace on Earth. Performing with him, will be the multi-cultural children of the International Peace Choir, who are also featured on the album. Kitaro elected to donate a portion of the proceeds from this album to E.C.O. (Earth Communications Office). E.C.O. is a nonprofit organization that uses the power of communications to improve the global environment. Kitaro will not be touring Europe in the next months because his many commitments in other nations. The next european concert dates may be on February / March 1998. His new album, to be released in September, will be called Cirque Ingenieux. This release will be the accompaniment of a Broadway-style play that will tour America in 1997 / 1998 and possibly Europe in late 1998 or 1999. Advance word indicates that it is unique and somewhat unlike what he has done in the past. At the same time, Kitaro has been working on new additions to his Kitaro's World of Music series.
