Big Round Records, an independent record label, and a driving force for independent Midwest Music, has opened a new professional recording facility within historical buildings of Dodge City. There has not been a facility of this professional caliber in this region.
Big Round Records has been an independent label that has enjoyed world-wide appeal with such groups as Route 3 and Myopic Nation. More Midwestern acts will be featured on a Compilation CD which will be released in March.
Several other record labels have jumped on the opportunity to bring acts from other places such as California and Hawaii to Dodge City.
