UK, November 20.
When the new release by Kitaro, called Peace on Earth and devoted to a largely cherished project by the musician, the release of different Christmas themes adapted to the synthesizer, has just appeared in the market, his own recording label, Domo Records, announces the re-release of several of the most important works by this Japanese composer, some of which could only be found with difficulty.
So far, six are the CDs that Domo is going to release for the market: Silk Road Volume 1, Silk Road Volume 2, Silk Road Suite, World of Kitaro, Oasis and Tunhuang. Most of them already belong to the History of electronic music and that on their day harvested spectacular sales. Perhaps the most interesting one, however, is World of Kitaro, since this is one of the least well known albums, since it was not released outside Japan. It consists in music by Kitaro performed with synthesizers together with the London National Philharmonic Orchestra.
Domo Records expect to release the records Ki and In Person Digital in the next season. Both these and the previous recordings will be published with 20-Bit Digital Mastering, improved covers and at an inferior price than usual.
