Page (Galleries).Paul Nagle has been one of the UK's most consistently innovative artists in the field of instrumental synthesizer and new age music. Inspired in the early ‘70's by the albums of Tangerine Dream, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield as well as by classical and rock music, he started experimenting with keyboards, tapes and recorded sound. He issued many cassette albums touching on themes of nature, fantasy and science fiction and emphasising real melody and varied musical structure above the improvisations typical of the field at the time. The music ranges from ambient and dance music, to new age, to touches of world music.
