Page (Galleries)The synthesist and composer Jean Michel Jarre began his career as an electronic musician in 1969. Until the mid '70s he composed movie soundtracks, he made works of production for pop musicians, gave some concerts, and also released some records. However, it was in 1976 when he initiated his most successful artistic stage, as he published the first of his independent albums as a synthesist: Oxygene. Jarre is as well known because of his concerts as because of his records. His macroperformances with music, images and special effects have come to gather audiences of more than a million people.
